Claire Suzanne Bügg BA(Hons) set up Talking Point Speech-Language Therapy in 2014. She is a UK trained Speech-language Therapist and has been practicing since 1998. Claire has worked in child development centres, community clinics, special needs schools and mainstream schools (both primary and secondary).

Claire's special interests are in speech sound production difficulties, early language difficulties (up to 7 years old), and stuttering/stammering (dysfluency) up to 7 years old. She has provided supervision for students and new graduates throughout her career. She has also thoroughly enjoyed running Hanen parenting courses and the Incredible Years parenting programme. In 2005 Claire immigrated to New Zealand to continue working as a Speech-Language Therapist.

Claire has been working for the Ministry of Education-Special Education but took time out to become a mother to her 10 year old and 12 year old girls. After returning from maternity leave she set up Talking Point Speech-Language Therapy. The practice is evidence-based and as practical and personalised as possible.
